The Red Queen costume features a six-paneled gown made from 20 yards of poly-satin. The gold detailing seen throughout the costume (skirt, bodice, neckpiece) was painstakingly hand-painted. There are also over 140 hand-made and beaded tassels that were created by dying and brushing yarn. This costume also features a PVC and Worbla chandelier corset that is dripping in a multitude of beads and rhinestones. The hoop skirt under the gown was made from faux leather and composite molding to be able to withstand the weight of the gown. This piece was selected to compete in NYCC's Championships of Cosplay in 2021 and FanExpo Boston's Grand Prix in 2022.
