This costume features a combination of prop design, sewing, and quilt-making techniques. The corset was made from 60 unique diamond shapes sewn together to create the custom-fitted, harlequin bodice. Each wing feather was made from EVA foam and a hidden wire core to increase stability and flexibility while still being lightweight. It attaches to the wearer's back with an invisible, strapless harness. Ranko's scythe was created using a PVC base, EVA foam, and detailed with foam clay. The rest of the costume features techniques like fabric burning, hand-ruffling, and pleating. This costume won Anime NYC's intermediate award at their 2023 craftsmanship competition.
